BioThis is a character from the online MU* roleplaying game, Hogwarts Express. All caveats therefore apply as to IC/OOC.

Born in 1947 to Remington and Fauna Nosfertum, Megaera was the second child of three, and was the firstborn daughter. Her brother, Ambrosius, was born three years before her, and her sister, Medea, was born two years after her (both Sly). She was Sorted Ravenclaw in 1959, she later took Ancient Runes and Healing Arts as her electives, did Duelling Club, really enjoyed Astronomy, and ran amok on the Quidditch Pitch as a Chaser. She made above average OWL marks in most of her courses, and quite high marks in her NEWTs by Seventh Year. It was during her 5th - 7th Years that she interned with IMC and decided to work for them covertly. Upon graduation in 1966, Megaera entered the IMC as a trainee. What's known is that she met her future husband in December of that year (InterLE agent Theodore Acanthus, from Louisiana), married him on June 20, 1968, and had their only son, Joseph, in 1969. The IMC claimed she was an attache working with InterLE and traveled extensively.
In 1969, her parents adopted a 10 year old boy, Darius, who she never really met given she was 22 at the time. For the next decade, she would be working quietly at whatever it was she was doing. On January 22, 1979, she was taken by a dark wizard and held for two days until her husband came to rescue her - and died in the fighting on the 24th. The wizard escaped, and she doesn't talk much about that period of her life, other than to say she took back the Nosfertum name. In late September 1980, however, Megaera retired from her IMC job to work as a researcher alongside her mother, Fauna - and declared war on the dark wizard when he reared his head up again to plague her family.
